Clarity Is Power

Clarity is Power

The clearer we all become on our goals, the greater our chances of success and achievement. It’s much easier to figure out how to achieve something, once you’ve decided exactly what it is that you really want and why you want it.

Most people tend to have foggy goals or wandering daydreams that often lack real direction. They may say something like; “I’d like to lose some weight and get in better shape!” or, “I wish I had more money, maybe I’ll buy a lottery ticket!” Neither one of these statements is very clear or specific, nor do they have little chance of turning into a reality.

Martial Arts training, and life, are so much more fun and exciting when we have exciting and specific goals that we are aiming for. Climbing the ranks in our journey to becoming a Black Belt is an extremely motivating process. Practicing and mastering our skills, training hard and getting ourselves into our best shape ever, has a very positive impact on all areas of our life.

Once we’ve created total clarity with our goals and we have specific targets to aim for, we must keep these goals in the forefront of our mind. It helps to write and re-write our goals on a regular basis…eat, live and breathe our goals until we are doing everything possible to turn our dreams into a reality. Imagine each time we enter the dojo, we are highly motivated and focused to train…ready to take action toward improving our mind, body and spirit.

CLARITY IS POWER! Think about your goals as a Black Belt, develop and create a clear vision of your short term goals, set some targets for the next 30-60-90 days…then use them as stepping stones to your longer term goals and objectives. Train and condition yourself to become the Ultimate Impact Black Belt.

“If you are not now making the progress you’d like to make and are capable of making… it is simply because your goals are not clearly defined.” –Dan Kennedy
